Flood Control and Resilience: Chesapeake WEA Stormwater Committee Summer Seminar w/MDE

The annual seminar of the Stormwater Committee for the Chesapeake Water Environment Association will once again be held at MITAGS in Linthicum, MD. This year’s seminar will be co-hosted by the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE).

There will be regulatory updates from EPA Region 3, the District’s Department of Energy & Environment, Delaware’s Department of Natural Resources & Environmental Control, and MDE. A panel discussion on the future of watershed governance is part of the program as well as an update on Atlas 15 from NOAA. The keynote address will be given by Maryland Senator Sara Love, the chair of the Chesapeake Bay Commission.
