TreeKeepers Plus: Tree Selection

TreeKeepers is TreeBaltimore’s free, city-wide tree stewardship program, open to anyone interested in Baltimore’s trees, age 15 and up. Through this series of classes, residents learn how to plant and care for street trees and trees around their schools and in their parks. The program also builds a community of people who care about Baltimore City’s trees and who want to help care for and advocate for our tree canopy.

The class will go over all the aspects of tree selection, including nursery stock selection, site considerations, species diversity and climate adaptation. The class is open to all, but attendance of Core 1, Core 2, and Introduction to Planting is encouraged.
