TreeKeepers Plus: Project Management

TreeKeepers is TreeBaltimore’s free, city-wide tree stewardship program, open to anyone interested in Baltimore’s trees, age 15 and up. Through this series of classes, residents learn how to plant and care for street trees and trees around their schools and in their parks. The program also builds a community of people who care about Baltimore City’s trees and who want to help care for and advocate for our tree canopy.

This class will walk residents through all the steps in organizing and implementing a tree planting project, including neighborhood assessment, tree well creation/expansion, permits, sourcing trees, organizing the planting, tools and supplies as well as potential grant funding.
