River Chubs and Maryland’s Other Little-Known But Fascinating Native Fish

Maryland has a native freshwater fish fauna that is diverse and resilient. They are a critical part of our freshwater ecosystems. However, they remain understudied by scientists, underappreciated by most, and face threats from the modern world.
