“Recycled Landscapes” Lecture

Join Cylburn Arboretum Friends and the Horticultural Society of Maryland for an evening lecture at the Vollmer Center with Martha Keen and Hans Hesselein of Apiary Studios, the designers of one of our newly-imagined City Demonstrations Gardens at Cylburn. Their presentation will focus on using recycled materials in garden-making, a theme reflected throughout the Demonstration gardens. Many of the landscapes that Apiary Studio creates are made from materials that are typically excavated from demolition sites or thrown out as remnants, cutoffs or scraps.
