Step into the past on a moonlit journey through historic Gwynns Falls Leakin Park. Begin the evening by visiting the FamilySearch table to explore your own roots – learn how to trace your ancestry, uncover family histories, and connect your story to generations before you. Then set out on a self-guided twilight walk through the park’s historic trails, where reenactors will bring to life the voices and stories of those laid to rest more than a century ago. By the glow of lantern light, you’ll encounter tales of love, loss, and resilience that shaped this land and community. After the walk, we’ll gather around the fire for reflection and connection – sharing stories, warming drinks, and honoring the echoes of history that still live among the trees.
