This year, we will be exploring the theme Antidotes to Toxicity, asking how we might collectively address some of the most entrenched, systemic toxicities we face. Antidotes might take the form of small, resistant acts—simple gestures of life-affirmation within one’s sphere of influence. Or they may be grander in scale, seeking collective actions that mitigate harm, restore possibility, and regenerate ecological systems. Together, we will think about what antidotes are already present in our communities, which we can draw on for strength and resilience.
