Join us this Winter as we cover the basics of Native Plant Identification and dive into the wonderful world of Native North American Plants!
We’ll be discussing how to use and utilize Dichotomous Keys to identify species. Each class will consist of a casual introduction to 10 species Native to Maryland. We will discuss the history and human connections that these plants have as well as their ecological role in the wild and in our gardens. In addition, we will also cover helpful literature and online resources that will have you identifying with confidence in no time!
